Myth, motor sports and mobility ? all of this is presented on 15,000 square metres at the new adventure park ring°werk. The large theme park which is located at the world-known race track Nürburgring also offers the rollercoaster ring°racer, a casino, an event hall, hotels, restaurants and much more.
The central part of the new ring°werk is the test°center. It combines the concept of a museum and a theme park. There, automobile history, technology and motor sports is turned into an adventure. The world of suspensions is delivered by the company KW which is regarded as the most successful suspension manufacturer at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Countless victories in the Green Hell confirm KW?s competence whether used in the 24-hour race, the endurance racing championship VLN or many other record runs are concerned.
In the test°center, KW offers interactive displays, thrilling animations, action-packed films and much more. This way, visitors can experience the history of suspension technology from the first historic experiments to today?s high technology. KW pleasantly explains the functionality, the advantages and the different application areas of shock absorbers and springs.
Moreover, visitors can experience fascinating impressions while driving an indoor race Lamborghini through the Green Hell.
Visitors who do not want to swop their own automobile with such a race car, can equip their vehicle with lowering springs, sport- or coilover suspensions at the touch screen configurator. Thus, KW creates an individual adventure for each test°center visitor.
Finally, a virtual company tour gives the guests the opportunity to look behind the scenes where research and development of KW suspensions are shown in a transparent and exciting way.
