Weksos Summer Rendezvous in Santa Cruz, California ( 08.10.2010 )

It was a misty and dreary Sunday morning but that just added to the laid back vibe at the beachside Wëk’sôs Summer Rendezvous in Santa Cruz California. The slight drizzle didn’t deter the hundreds of cars that had driven in for the event. The parking area was supposed to open at 8:30, but before 8 o’clock the lot was already filling up and the line to get in was around the block.

German car builders often don’t understand the tuning industry’s mentality. What’s the point of tuning a car that they’ve already made perfect? In the case of the new E92 BMW M3, its arguably as perfect as it gets; if you’re a vehicle manufacturer. But few that own an M3 can leave it alone.

Calvin Eng, owner of Auto-Tech Interiors Inc. is one of the few and firsts. Adam Geake founded HXC Performance LLC in the Summer of 2005, since that time he’s been working to develop aftermarket parts for the Dodge Challenger. Participating with top tier partners and high profile events Adam wanted to align himself with a top quality suspension company.
