Ride along with Rhys Millen in his Red Bull Racing Hyundai Genesis Coupe at the Redline Time Attack Finals at Autoclub Speedway, in Fontana, California. The Genesis competes in the Formula Drift Series, The Pike’s Peak Hill Climb and in this instance the Redline Time Attack series as a Drift Class competitor. It is powered by a turbocharged 3.8-liter Hyundai V6 engine and equipped with KW 3-way competition coilovers in all of these events.  The teams accolades include  time attack Drift Class victory at Pahrump Speedway and at  Autoclub Speed way with a lap time of 1:48:02 ( 6 seconds faster than the closest competitor) and a new world record at Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. more »

KW suspensions rents Irwindale to support drift teams before Formula D’s final event.

On Wednesday Oct. 7^th, 2009, KW suspensions hosted a suspension test session at Irwindale Raceway.

KW supported drivers had the opportunity to come and work first hand with KW’s lead engineer, Klaus Frank. Klaus had specifically made the trip across the pond from Germany to help dial in each driver’s drift car and provide his extensive expertise in suspension tuning to the teams.

After a short group meeting outlining the day’s itinerary and a valuable Question and Answer period with Klaus. Teams where quickly out on course relaying information of what they desired in their setup. more »
