Moving back from Makuhari Messe Chiba in 2008 to Tokyo Big Sight Exhibition Centre, the Tokyo Special Import Car Show was held from 19.6.-21.6.2009. KW exhibited all product lines in Cooperation with the Japanese partner Hashimoto Corporation based in Kyoto.

The crowds of visitors saw for example the KW HLS System, a fully hydraulic operated height lift system, which can help the driver to access parking areas or drive over bump stops without the danger of damaging expensive body or under body parts of the car, in combination with a KW Variant 3 coilover kit at the KW exclusive booth. Furthermore, KW Clubsport, a rebound and compression adjustable suspension for track days and pure road performance was show to interested dealers and customers. more »

KW launched KW HLS (Hydraulic Lift System) for Japan at the Tokyo Autoshow 2008. Besides KW HLS, KW also presented it’s other products like KW coilover kits and KW clubsport suspensions to the public. more »

The Tokyo Auto Salon 2009 took place from January 9-11, 2009 at the Mahuhari Exhibition Center. KW attented the show on a 150 sqm booth in cooperation with its importer Hashimoto. Highlight of the show have been a Nissan GT-R with KW Clubsport suspension, KW HLS (Hydraulic Lift System), LSD Doors, Kahn forged wheels, Seibon carbon fibre hood and trunk, as well as a BMW M3 GTR Widebody in KW CI colors and KW 3-way adjustable race suspensions.

Another highlight of the show has been the new study of the Honda NSX from Honda Mugen.

Impressive have also been the tuning styles which are not known in Europe such as VIP style, which means extremely modified mainly big Japanese luxury limousines and also the extremely modified mini vans. more »
